Overview
A leading architecture and engineering firm is seeking a
Regional Commissioning Manager
to lead commissioning and client development efforts within the
Mission Critical
group, with a focus on
Data Centers . This role blends technical leadership, business development, and strategic growth across regional and national markets. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the full commissioning life cycle Lead pursuit strategies, proposals, and market engagement in the Mission Critical sector Serve as Commissioning Project Manager on key regional and national projects Direct multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the commissioning process Oversee contracts, scope development, and fee negotiations Ensure delivery excellence across technical quality, schedule, and financial performance Support team development, mentoring, and quality assurance initiatives Collaborate with regional and national leadership on market strategy and business planning Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field 15+ years of industry experience Minimum of 7 years in commissioning leadership or project management 5+ years Data Center experience Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools Preferred Licensed PE or RA Experience with MS Project (Access or Deltek a plus) Proven success in technical leadership and business development in the Mission Critical sector Established network of industry relationships and client contacts Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams Passion for sustainability, quality, and innovation Day-to-day Engage with clients, project teams, and leadership to ensure commissioning excellence Lead high-impact project delivery from planning through final closeout Identify new business opportunities and drive market growth Manage and mentor team members across disciplines and locations Align regional project execution with national delivery goals and strategies Seniority level
