Qualifications

Exemplifies instructional leadership, personal scholarship, a collaborative leadership style, personal integrity, strong interpersonal skills, effective communications skills; and Visionary leader in public schools to work collaboratively with district leadership, principals, and community members to support the preparation of learners for the 21st century.
Terms Of Employment
Probationary/Term Contract: 250 days
Salary
$139,656 (EL-1)
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.
Essential Functions
Provide leadership, coaching, and support for elementary principals. Supervise and evaluate elementary principals. Coordinate leadership initiatives for professional development for aspiring and current principals. Process concerns expressed by parents, patrons, and personnel. Serve as hearing officer for unresolved formal complaints under policies FNG and DGBA at Level Two. Assist in facilitating academic achievement meetings for elementary campuses. Participate in the interview process for selecting elementary principals. Implement the policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local Board policy in the areas assigned. Assist in facilitating the coaching and mentoring programs for new principals. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Officer for School Leadership.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent district-wide and occasional overnight travel. Frequent outdoor exposure.
