- Coverage Period: Starting 07/01/2025 Open-ended
- Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour physician coverage split into 12-hour shifts

- Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics
- Patient Volume/Census: 19,000 annual ED visits ( 52 patients/day)
- Admissions: Yes
- Case Mix: General Emergency Medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff Available: 10-hour NP/PA coverage daily
- Reason for Coverage: Locum physician coverage need

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Mississippi medical license required
- Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM with ED experience
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable working in a community ED with NP/PA team
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care during 12-hour physician shifts (24-hour total daily coverage)
- Collaborate with 10-hour NP/PA support staff for daily ED operations
- Document all care using Epic EMR
- Deliver care in a flexible schedule model with rotating coverage as needed
