About The Role We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager with a strong foundation in computer vision and experience in reconstruction techniques to lead the development of our new neural simulation product. You will be instrumental in creating a first-of-its-kind simulation tool that will enable the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles and position Applied Intuition as a leader in vehicle intelligence for major OEMs. Responsibilities
Build, manage, and mentor a team of world-class machine learning and software engineers. Develop a fast, scalable, and high-fidelity neural simulator for training and evaluating autonomous vehicles. Collaborate with customers to define requirements and implement solutions for the neural simulation product. Advance the state of the art in multi-sensor 4D reconstruction, view synthesis, and diffusion for dynamic scenes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, or related fields from a top institution. 4+ years in the machine learning field. 2+ years of people management experience. Experience with neural simulation techniques such as Gaussian splatting, NeRFs, Dust3R, and diffusion; programming in Python or C++. Preferred Skills
Experience developing software for technical end users. Research published at conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA. Experience with 4D reconstruction or diffusion in autonomous systems. Knowledge of domain gap reduction between synthetic and real data. Familiarity with classical reconstruction techniques such as VSLAM, SfM. Master’s or PhD in relevant fields. Additional Information Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits. The salary range is $204,000 - $343,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We are an in-office company with flexible remote options for specific roles.
