What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop tools and workflows for remote assist specialists to guide autonomous vehicles through on-road challenges
- Create mission management and fleet intelligence software for efficient management of the scaling fleet
- Design Verification and Validation plans to ensure safety and effectiveness of systems for on-road operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Provide situational context to remote assist specialists for accurate and fast decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of industry software engineering experience with strong C++ coding fundamentals
- Experience in robotics and/or autonomous vehicles
- Interest in developing user-facing tools and workflows
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leveraging ML/AI technologies
- Previous work involving human-robot interaction
- Development experience of Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs)
