Minnesota (MN) and/or Wisconsin (WI) — open to other locations aligned with current/future project needs About the Role As a
Land Survey Technician , you will play a key role in supporting a variety of land development and construction projects. You’ll be responsible for performing boundary surveys, construction staking, and generating 3D models—serving clients across multiple sectors. This position offers hands-on fieldwork, opportunities for growth, and potential progression into supervisory roles. Key Responsibilities Conduct boundary surveys, easement research, and deed/title reviews Perform all aspects of construction staking in diverse industry settings Independently or collaboratively complete survey tasks with precision Produce 3D models and road corridor designs using Civil 3D or similar tools Operate Trimble survey equipment (GPS, total stations, and data collectors) Travel to project sites (overnight travel required) Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Surveying Engineering (preferred) 2+ years
of relevant field or drafting experience Proficiency with
AutoCAD Civil 3D
or equivalent design tools Familiarity with
Trimble Survey Equipment Valid driver’s license Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to travel regularly for fieldwork Preferred (Nice-to-Haves) Professional licensure in MN, WI, or other U.S. states Previous supervisory or mentorship experience This role is ideal for a technician seeking long-term development. Those open to travel and field-based work may be on a path toward
supervising a field survey team
