FRACSYS Inc is seeking a DBA Lead (with Active Clearance) to join our team in Washington DC. You will be responsible for managing a team of DBAs to maintain relational databases including Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, AWS RDS, and PostgreSQL. The DBA manager will provide database advisory and consulting services for the enterprise. Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity, security, and availability of mission-critical databases, performance tuning, index maintenance, monitoring, disaster recovery, and implementing policies for database security and integrity. The role involves evaluating and recommending database management systems and supporting lifecycle activities to ensure system performance, availability, and compliance. Responsibilities: Manage the team of DBAs and assign tasks accordingly. Represent the DBA team in IT leadership meetings and guide junior DBAs. Administer, test, and implement databases. Coordinate database changes and implement security measures. Monitor server and database performance and respond to issues. Provide trend analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
Experience in database administration or related fields. Experience with relational databases such as Sybase, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
