Position Description:
The Enterprise Services Engineer will specialize in Microsoft Azure, designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level IT infrastructure and services, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and performant, often involving data management, and collaborating with various teams to meet business needs.
Position Job Duties
Ability to design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions for enterprise clients, focusing on Azure services, infrastructure, interoperability, and security to ensure an efficient, reliable, and secure hybrid cloud environment Provide technical expertise by possessing strong technical skills in systems administration, troubleshooting, and IT consulting, focusing on the enterprise’s infrastructure, systems, networks, and security Ability to problem solve, identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues independently and collaboratively Client focus works closely with the client to understand their needs and ensure they achieve their desired outcomes within their enterprise infrastructure, systems, networks, and security Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally Ability to collaborate and work within a team-based environment, collaborating with Technical Account Managers and other enterprise engineers Responsible for documenting best practices, procedures, and knowledge base entries for the enterprise Continuously learn and adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of enterprise technology, infrastructure, systems, networks, and security Provide onsite support to clients at multiple locations, ensuring the smooth operation of the enterprise Ability to engineer solutions for the enterprise’s infrastructure, systems, networks, and security to ensure stability and performance Proactively identify opportunities for clients to gain greater value from their enterprise environment Responsible for ensuring that customers meet their risk and compliance requirements regarding their enterprise’s infrastructure, systems, networks, and security Contribute to the effective management of IT assets within the client environment
