The successful candidate will integrate and coordinate with other departments, project partners, regulators, and outside organizations supporting Enterprise Software Program. This role will work across business units including IT and Plant Operations teams to analyze needs, document requirements, and support the delivery of integrated technology solutions in a highly regulated and operationally critical environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen, domain expertise in utility operations, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications-especially for platforms such as ERP, EAM, work management, plant operations, and compliance systems.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the liaison between functional teams and vendors to ensure software solutions meet business and operational. Lead requirements elicitation sessions focused on enterprise software platforms such as IBM Maximo, Oracle WAM, SAP PM, PI System, or similar. Translate operational workflows into user stories, process diagrams, and functional specifications. Conduct gap analyses and workflow mapping for systems supporting field operations, maintenance scheduling, outage planning, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with solution architects and developers to define integration and data flow requirements across enterprise platforms. Support software testing efforts including system integration testing, UAT, and regression testing for mission-critical systems. Facilitate Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demo sessions. Document and communicate system configurations, business rules, and data definitions. Participate in change management and training support during system deployment and upgrades. Coordinate and schedule workshops for respective Business Units (BU's). Support collaborative workshops with internal and vendor teams. Assists in management of workshop participants (SME's) and resources. Maintains project schedules and provide weekly status of workshops to Core Project Team and BU's. Updating and reporting of workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Ensure consistency of all reporting across Core Project Team and BU's. Verifying completion of workshop deliverables. Updates project documentation, as needed. In depth understanding of nuclear power plant processes. Experience in Maximo, P6, EDMS, and other nuclear application software Create or develop software requirements specifications for the purchase of new software. Key Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst within the energy, utility, or infrastructure sectors. 10 yrs experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst if minimal educational requirements are not met. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise software implementations Demonstrated experience building process and data flow mapping, data migration, application configuration, and user adoption. Strong working knowledge of work management, asset management, outage management, or regulatory compliance systems. Proficient in writing SQL queries and analyzing structured data from enterprise data sources. Familiarity with system integration concepts and technologies (e.g., APIs, ETL, middleware). Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and documentation platforms like Confluence. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Self-starter who can develop innovative solutions with minimal supervision. Possess a high degree of trust and integrity, openly communicate, and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork. Understand how individual actions and decisions can positively and negatively affect the ability of the total organization to meet its requirements to regulatory agencies and to the public. Adapt well to emergent changes due to changes in plant design, plant procedures, schedule changes, or other challenges associated with the design, construction, and commissioning of a new nuclear power plant. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in business or process analysis (PMI-PBA, CCBA,CBPA, CBPP, CBPL, or equivalent) Experience with regulated environments such as nuclear, fossil, or renewable power generation. Experience building and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 Working knowledge of EAM systems (IBM Maximo, Oracle WAM, Infor EAM) or GIS platforms (Esri ArcGIS). Understanding of NERC, FERC, NRC, or other compliance frameworks. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
