Leidos is need of an Enterprise Architect to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort George G. Meade, MD. This isn't just any job. The NEC serves as the hub for enterprise systems engineering and architecture for NC3 within the Department of Defense (DoD). Our customer, led by the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), applies subject matter expertise and best practices to translate mission and operational requirements into operational solutions and capabilities. As an Enterprise Architect you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, government product and process owners, and stakeholders to support system-of-systems architecture activities for a large-scale enterprise. Apply to join our team now! Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain architecture products, such as system and operational views describing the NC3 system-of-systems. Provide Enterprise Architecture subject matter expertise to support data-driven senior leader decisions. Work as a contributing member of the NEC team supporting the modification, upgrade, evolution, and modernization of existing NC3 systems. Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system-of-systems architecture products. Advise the government with recommendations to enhance the NC3 system-of-systems and associated NC3 capabilities. Collaborate with other Enterprise and System Architects, and NC3 Enterprise engineering subject matter experts to provide validated data to support digital engineering processes. Develop and incorporate architecture artifacts (e.g., the Operational View (OV) and Systems View (SV) for incorporation into documentation and presentations). Basic Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Must possess one or more of the following: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification or demonstrated practitioner-level experience. DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) certification or demonstrated practitioner-level experience. At least five (5) years of experience in the following: Digital modeling/architecture development using Cameo, Magic Draw, SparxEA or Systems Modeling Language (SML). Digital Mission Engineering Environment or Model-Based Systems Engineering. Developing architecture artifacts per industry standards such as Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of, and/or experience, with military satellite communications (MILSATCOM), RF, IP-based and/or terrestrial communications systems. Experience conducting architecture/performance trade-off analysis, and engineering design of a system-of-systems. Experience working with senior NC3 community stakeholders such as NEC, USSTRATCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD. Pay Range: $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
