Continue with Google Summary As a member of an agile Development Team, the Developer IV develops application solutions for Tulane University with a primary focus on student information and learning management systems and system interfaces. Responsibilities include developing and implementing large-scale database applications using standard-based methodologies and tools; researching, designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and maintaining new and existing applications, including databases, reports, web applications, mobile applications, interfaces, and third-party integrations. The position also involves gathering business requirements, coding, documentation, testing, and maintenance, adhering to agile principles, and providing support and mentoring to team members. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both non-technical end-users and technical staff. Solid understanding of web application development, from UI layout to relational database structures. Ability to work as part of an Agile development team. Strong commitment to customer service. Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies. Excellent organizational and time management skills; capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent plus six years of software development experience, including working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), web development with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, server-side coding in Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, MVC, Core, Entity Framework, Web API, Razor), and at least five years in web API development using JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, Angular, React, or VueJS. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Angular, React, VueJS, TypeScript, and .NET Core. Microservices development. DevOps CI/CD integrations. Experience with Banner.
