We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented early career professional to join our Transportation team in our Boston, MA office beginning in December-an ideal opportunity for December 2025 graduates! Key Responsibilities Analyze current and projected traffic conditions to identify areas of improvement and plan effective solutions. Conduct detailed studies to assess the impact of proposed developments on traffic patterns. Design and draft highway alignment layouts. Measure and analyze vehicular speeds to evaluate roadway safety and functionality. Design roadways that accommodate all users, including pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and transit riders. Prepare and submit applications for highway permits in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develop and analyze transportation models for corridors to evaluate capacity, traffic flow, and potential improvements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for transportation and highway construction projects. Collaborating with team to support services for large, multi-disciplinary civil/site projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering EIT registration preferred Intermediate skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation and Synchro preferred Experience with construction and/or land surveying is a plus Experience with MassDOT
