Join Zip’s Product Management function and play a pivotal role in defining and delivering exceptional merchant and platform experiences. If you excel in fast-paced, adaptive environments and are passionate about simplifying complex processes, accelerating onboarding, and creating seamless integration experiences, this role is ideal for you. You will lead a high-impact team focused on streamlining merchant onboarding, settlement processes, and integrations, empowering merchants and developers across our growing ecosystem.
As the Group Product Manager, Product Management – Merchant & Platform Experience, Management & Integration, you will own the end-to-end merchant experience, from initial onboarding and integration to ongoing management and settlement. Your strategic leadership will ensure merchants and platforms can effortlessly connect with and leverage ZIP’s solutions, fueling growth and scalability. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, reduce complexity, and deliver cohesive solutions that strengthen ZIP’s market position and merchant relationships.
Interesting problems you’ll get to solve
- Contribute to and drive the strategy, design, and execution for merchant onboarding, settlement, and ongoing management processes within your group, ensuring simplicity and efficiency for our partners and platforms.
- Manage and optimize aspects of the merchant journey within your product area, from seamless integration and implementation to embedding ZIP’s financial solutions into partner ecosystems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to deliver scalable and frictionless merchant experiences.
- Lead efforts to drive merchant adoption, retention, and satisfaction within your product remit, through continuous innovation, optimisation, and simplification of integration and management experiences.
- Manage and prioritise a robust product roadmap for your specific product area, contributing to the acceleration of merchant onboarding, streamlining integrations, and supporting sustainable business growth.
- Utilise and contribute to the development of frameworks for evaluating product performance, merchant satisfaction, and integration efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights to inform tactical and strategic decisions and continuous improvements.
- Act as a key advocate for merchants and platforms within your product domain, championing their needs and driving initiatives to elevate the overall partner experience with ZIP.
- Regularly report to senior leadership, and contribute to presentations for the executive team, providing insights, strategies, and performance updates to ensure alignment and drive strategic momentum.
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science). An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Completion of a formal Product Management training program is preferred.
- Experience:
- 8-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, managing B2B product experiences.
- Strong experience in Payments and Merchant services, demonstrating expertise in payment processing, merchant settlements, and related financial solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing product teams or individual product managers, emphasizing collaboration, cross-functional alignment, and effective partnership with technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in driving innovation, accelerating merchant adoption, and contributing to cohesive product strategies within multi-product, B2B environments.
- Familiarity with regulated industries, ensuring compliance, security, and robust risk management while delivering highly effective and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated use of AI in the performance of your role.
- A strong leader with excellent presence, capable of inspiring and aligning product teams and cross-functional partners.
- Must have a genuine passion for understanding and advocating for the merchant, coupled with enthusiasm for tackling challenges head-on.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop high performing product managers.
- A data-driven decision maker who can balance strategic objectives with practical execution for their product area.
- Merchant-focused, with a relentless commitment to delivering intuitive, efficient, and high-performing integration and management experiences.
- Adaptable and results-oriented, thriving in fast-paced, agile environments.

The annual base Pay Range for this position is $195,000 - $205,000. This range reflects our US national compensation (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
If hired, employees will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
