Key Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and optimize the Epic MyChart application to improve the patient portal experience. Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to implement MyChart enhancements, including telehealth, eCheck-in, messaging, and appointment scheduling features. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MyChart functionality, integrations, and user access. Work closely with IT, clinical, and operational teams to ensure MyChart aligns with organizational workflows and regulatory requirements. Analyze user feedback and system performance to recommend and implement improvements. Provide training and support to end-users, including patients and healthcare providers. Assist in MyChart security settings, ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security best practices. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and change management processes to maintain application stability. Generate reports and dashboards to monitor MyChart utilization and patient engagement trends. Qualifications:
Epic MyChart certification required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of experience working with Epic MyChart or other patient portal technologies. Strong understanding of EpicCare Ambulatory, patient access, and revenue cycle workflows is preferred. Experience with FHIR, APIs, and integrations between Epic and third-party applications is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient data security best practices.
