Chief Estimator – Commercial Construction | Based in Miami | $200,000–$250,000 + Bonus + Healthcare

We’re representing a top-tier general contractor in Miami , seeking a Chief Estimator to lead their preconstruction efforts on major commercial projects across South Florida.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-profile leadership role — managing complex bids and overseeing an experienced estimating team, all while working on landmark builds with values up to $500 million .

• Oversee all estimating functions — conceptual budgets, design-phase estimates, and hard bids
• Develop bid strategies and lead presentation efforts with clients and executives
• Manage a team of estimators and collaborate with precon, ops, and exec leadership
• Review historical data, market trends, and costs to ensure competitive pricing
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners across the region
• 10+ years in estimating, with a strong commercial GC background
• Experience leading teams and winning large-scale bids
• Strong knowledge of local subcontractor market and material pricing
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with industry software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar)
