F-22 Pilot Training Lead Software Engineer
to join the Vehicle Simulation Team in
Berkeley, MO . This role focuses on supporting Boeing Global Services' training products for fighter pilots, including: F-22 Pilot Training Avionics Simulation (PTAS) F-22 Advanced Simulation Toolset (FAST) This position offers the opportunity to lead the design and roadmap of the Vehicle Simulation team as a Technical Architect and Lead Software Engineer. Responsibilities include interacting with users to refine requirements, managing feature prioritization, conducting technical design and peer reviews, setting coding standards, mentoring teams, and handling complex coding tasks. The role involves testing simulations in environments like DTE and FMT with CRVS visual systems. Candidates should have extensive experience in C/C++, Windows, Linux, and software development tools, along with a background in real-time embedded systems and software architecture. Additional qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, cloud architecture, and aircraft systems knowledge. The role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a security clearance, and willingness to travel (~10%).
