Student Employee, Corporate & Community Services
Position Title: Student Employee, Corporate & Community Services Status: Part time Department: Corporate & Community Services Division: Academic Affairs Reports To: Manager, Corporate & Community Services Classification: Non-exempt Minimum Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour (Position is FWS Eligible) Essential Job Duties And Key Responsibilities Assist with daily tasks involved in completing registrations, answering phones, and responding to emails. Work with office staff in preparing class documents, (sign in sheets, print-outs and books). Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and training as may be required. Assist with the promotion and coordination of programs and events. Perform related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semester. GPA of 2.0 or above. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft computer programs. English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency. Demonstrated multicultural competence. Working Conditions Normal office conditions and indoor/outdoor athletic court/field conditions Scheduled Weekly Hours: This is a student employee position that works around your class schedule. May work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters. During summer and holiday breaks (Winter/Spring), may work up to 28 hours per week with supervisor approval.
