Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of a single multifamily construction project from one of the company's regional offices in Silver Spring, MD or Ashburn, VA . This is a high-impact role for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality residential communities.
- Lead all phases of a multifamily construction project (typically $60M-$200M in value), from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor relationships, and client communications.
- Oversee field operations in collaboration with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Drive project performance and proactively resolve issues to maintain timelines and profitability.
- One project at a time (focused execution)
- Project types include Multifamily , Student Housing , and Senior Living
- Construction types: Wood Frame , Concrete , and Steel
The Successful Applicant
- 6-8 years of experience in construction, preferably in multifamily or commercial projects.
- Proven experience managing multifamily or commercial construction projects independently.
- Strong background in wood-frame and/or concrete construction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and project documentation.
- Ability to work from either the Silver Spring or Ashburn office and travel to local project sites as needed.
- Base Salary: $105,000-$155,000
- Bonus: 10-15% annually
