Position Summary The Security Administrator is responsible for safeguarding an organization's information systems and sensitive data by implementing, managing, and enforcing security protocols. This role collaborates with our technology team to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, address vulnerabilities, and maintain a strong security posture. This person should be a self-starter, a continuous learner, and a problem solver. Responsibilities Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ISE, including creating policies, device profiles, and downloadable access control lists (DACLs). Apply patches, monitor performance, and troubleshoot client authentication. Assist technology teams in investigating and remediating vulnerabilities. Stay updated on security trends, threats, and technologies; implement necessary updates and upgrades; remediate vulnerabilities. Monitor and respond to security alerts, such as user lockouts and suspicious activities. Oversee configuration and maintenance of Rapid7 vulnerability platform and SIEM. Co-administer Netskope Secure Web Gateway and CASB, including agents. Participate in identifying, triaging, and investigating security incidents as part of the Incident Response Team. Support Security Analysts during peak times or when needed. Education and Experience Minimum of 6 years in the Information Security field. Network and/or Security certifications preferred. Skills Deep knowledge of security principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with security tools like Cisco ISE, Rapid7, Netskope SWG and CASB. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of incident response procedures. Ability to create and update security documentation. Experience with Cisco Meraki and M365 security (preferred). Additional Details Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience.
