Primary Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, providing assistance and directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage incoming calls with efficiency, routing them to the correct personnel as required.
• Streamline appointment scheduling to enhance patient satisfaction and provider productivity.
• Prepare and update patient charts, ensuring accuracy in demographic and insurance details.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits using online verification tools.
• Handle financial transactions, including collecting copays and managing patient account balances.
• Ensure accurate posting of visit charges in compliance with coding guidelines.
• Maintain precise daily records, balancing them against Day Sheets, and file patient charts promptly.
• Provide information about healthcare services and collaborate with marketing teams on recruitment efforts.
• Assist with additional duties as needed to support the healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
• Strong customer service skills and effective interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
