Direct Client Requirement Job Title: Associate AVP (Equity Derivatives) Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite) Job Type: Full Time Role Requirements
Provide all levels of application support for Front Office Equity Derivatives platforms Troubleshoot and diagnose Trading and Risk applications in real-time Collaborate with development teams on requirement gathering and systems development Support End-Of-Day processes for a complex Risk system, while collaborating with Production Support teams in other regions Take ownership of problems and follow-up to completion, while maintaining a high standard of communication with the stakeholders Utilize ServiceNow to record and track incidents, conduct releases, and perform Problem Management Track issues and prioritize workload Manage releases and deployment and perform DR/BCP management Manage user queries and service requests, often requiring an in-depth analysis of the technical and/or business logic of our systems Automate tasks to reduce toil Required Qualifications
5+ years experience in trade floor or related support experience with Front Office trading systems Experience in supporting Equity Derivatives (and associated life cycle). An experience supporting other Derivatives products could be considered Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred A good understanding of risk management systems Strong technical and analytical skills (SQL knowledge and some scripting experience) Proficient user knowledge of UNIX and Windows Good problem solving skills while working under pressure Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and work towards tight deadlines Ability to work in a fast paced trading environment Desired Qualifications
