Here at Samaritan Hospital, an affiliate of St. Peter's Health Partners, we care for more people in more places. We are currently seeking a practitioner for our PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) Program. This is a rehabilitation based model which promotes recovery from psychiatric illness. The Social Worker will be a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, working with adults with a wide range of psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Duties include: individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, case coordination, and community collaboration. The responsibilities include: diagnosing and treating psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders; providing specialized skills and mental health therapy for clients; identifying barriers which impact optimal patient functioning; ensuring patients receive appropriate resources in most appropriate setting. The qualifications required are: Master's degree in Social Work is required. NYS LMSW or LCSW licensure is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical, Psychiatric, or Health Care setting is required. Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.08 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
