Overview
Roles & Responsibilities • Understanding of gas utility assets like pipelines, valves, regulators, meters, stations, and network connectivity models • Solution design architecture on ESRI platform • Analyze existing GIS Data Models (ESRI geometric network and other Legacy systems) • Analyze existing legacy GIS application and perform functionality mapping in ESRI Utility Network • Design and implement data models conforming to ESRI's Utility Network Model (UNM) schema • Design and implement Viewing, Editing and Analysis workflows in ESRI UNM and Schneider ArcFM • Perform Gap analysis between current data structures and UNM Target models • Configure, and manage UNM feature classes, rules and association in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise. • Support data migration, transformation and validation • Collaborate with GIS analysts, DBAs, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate asset representations. • Assist in developing documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures for the UNM Model • Provide technical expertise on ESRI tools, best practices, and workflows for gas distribution networks • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and IT team - adoption of Agile methodology Generic Managerial Skills, If any • Business process understanding of gas utility Industry • Experience in managing IT requirements and project deliverables for large utility clients. • Stakeholder and workshop management
