The Role: We are seeking a deeply experienced Senior Security Engineer to be the firm's subject matter expert on AI Security. This is a crucial role where you will be the primary advisor on all AI security initiatives, shaping policy and designing the secure patterns that will underpin our use of emerging AI agents and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will act as a key leader and a trusted liaison between the Information Security team and business units across the firm, ensuring that security is a core component of our cutting-edge AI strategy.
What you’ll be doing: Lead the firm’s security strategy for Generative AI and Machine Learning, acting as the primary advisor on all AI security initiatives.
Architect and design secure patterns for the development and deployment of emerging AI agents and LLM-based systems.
Collaborate with world-class engineering, research, and business teams to perform security reviews of new and existing AI-driven systems.
Design, build, and operate innovative security tools to automate threat detection and response within our AI infrastructure.
Champion security best practices and clearly articulate complex security topics to software engineers, infrastructure teams, and compliance functions.
Who we’re looking for: 10+ years of experience in a senior security, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering role, with practical experience implementing security measures in real-world scenarios.
Deep expertise in core security concepts, including modern authentication protocols (OIDC, FIDO2), cryptography, and application security (OWASP Top 10).
Demonstrable experience in tackling the unique challenges of securing Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI systems.
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical groups.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go) for the purpose of building security tools and automation.
Demonstrated leadership in making pragmatic, risk-based decisions in situations with high levels of ambiguity.
