Associate Geologist (CA) Responsibilities Accept field and office tasks from PMs and senior personnel related to geology, geotechnical, and earthwork. Respond to geotechnical-related requests from job sites. Perform geologic mapping and logging of various types in accordance with USCS and Caltrans standards. Prepare geotechnical reports. Prepare geohazard reports for DSA projects (CA only). Prepare geotechnical proposals and prepare schedule of work. Solicit bids from subcontractors and manage field geotechnical investigation tasks. Attend to the progress of active investigations weekly by discussing ongoing steps with principals. Manage mandatory pre drill and post drill meetings with PMs and principals as needed. Prepare and present trainings to technicians on geological and geotechnical services where requested. Travel where appropriate for oversight and data collection. Travel may be to any Fenagh or CTS office location, or client location. Requirements Requires at least 3 years experience and registration as a CA professional geologist (PG), preferred.
