satellite office. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced geotechnical engineer to shape a new branch, manage multidisciplinary projects, and drive business growth in a thriving market.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage geotechnical and construction materials testing (CMT) projects Assemble and guide project teams through the full lifecycle-from planning to delivery Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality control Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications Drive business development through networking, proposals, and client engagement Manage branch operations including hiring, forecasting, and staff development Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values
What You'll Bring:
8+ years of technical and managerial experience in engineering consulting Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Strong business acumen with P&L responsibility Excellent project management and organizational abilities Deep commitment to safety and engineering excellence Knowledge of the local/regional engineering market is a plus
Education & Credentials:
Required:
B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering Preferred:
M.S. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical focus) Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
