Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Graduate Student Admissions and working closely with the Master of Science in Marketing Intelligence (MSMI) program director, the MSMI Program & Graduate Admissions Operations Manager is responsible for all the operational needs (e.g. the experiential and programmatic aspects) of the MSMI program. The manager performs all daily functions necessary for the optimal running of the MSMI program working directly with the MSMI program director, the faculty teaching in the MSMI program, the Office of Graduate Admissions, and the Office of Graduate Student Success & Engagement, including the Graduate Careers unit. In the capacity of Graduate Admissions Operations Manager, the manager will support operations that relate to prospective student and admission committee events and communication. Essential Job Responsibilities The manager is responsible in the marketing, development and distribution of all materials (i.e., marketing and promotions, academic programming, classes, events, etc.) related to the MSMI program. The manager develops and maintains relationships with marketing, graduate recruitment and admissions, graduate student success and engagement, and other teams in the School of Management, supporting the MSMI program director's efforts in coordinating different aspects of the MSMI program's respective operations. The manager collects, organizes and securely maintains files for the MSMI practicum and all necessary documentation pertaining to external organization clients, creating surveys, other program materials, and assessing data on student and client needs and levels of satisfaction with the practicum experience. The manager interfaces with the program's full-time and adjunct faculty and program mentors to ascertain that their instructional support needs are met. The manager will support admissions operations in relation to prospective student questions and events, admission operations and interviews, and admitted student questions and events. The manager also performs general administrative and programming responsibilities including, but not limited to, meeting with colleagues, participating in all-hands programs and other duties as assigned. Requirements BA/BS degree required, an MBA or graduate management degree strongly preferred. Other advanced degrees considered. Minimum two years of administrative experience, preferably in university administration. Experience working with graduate students. This position requires excellent judgment and respect for confidentiality. Experience strongly desired in Slate and word processing, spreadsheets, website maintenance. Strong ability and commitment to working in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. High customer service values and an exceptional level of professionalism are required. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently. Ability to work with diverse populations. While main hours are generally 9:00 AM
5:00 PM, regular, consistent participation in evening and weekend events is required. This position is located at the 101 Howard campus in downtown San Francisco, but travel is required to the School of Management's main campus and corporate client offices occasionally for meetings and events. Full time Salary $65,000 - $73,000 annualized, commensurate to experience
