Depends on experience Position Overview: Tech Valley Talent (TVT), an HBITS Prime Vendor, is seeking a Senior Software Architect to support the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). This 30-month engagement involves maintaining and enhancing CHOICES, a highly customized, cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 system integrated with BizTalk for large-scale data exchange. The architect will provide leadership in troubleshooting, bug fixing, and re-architecting connected applications. Responsibilities: Maintain and resolve issues in Microsoft BizTalk application instances Monitor BizTalk traffic and ensure accurate data delivery Identify and resolve server performance or application issues with support from internal teams or Microsoft Modify Pipelines, Orchestrations, Mappings, Schemas, and related .NET code as data structures evolve Research and develop proof-of-concepts for potential BizTalk replacements ahead of its end-of-life Resolve production issues and support Help Desk tickets Contribute to CHOICES system stability, performance, and long-term planning Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting BizTalk integration solutions for enterprise applications using WCF and web services (SOA) 5+ years of experience monitoring BizTalk traffic, identifying performance issues, and configuring/tuning BizTalk environments 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-performance web applications using ASP.NET/C# and external web services in a .NET/IIS environment 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and securing SOAP and REST external web services using WCF and Web API 3+ years of experience developing and modifying .NET-based applications that integrate with other .NET-based systems Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Required Documentation: Updated Resume Copy of valid identification (Driver’s License, Passport, Visa, or Green Card as applicable) Copies of any referenced degrees or certifications Three professional references Completed Form 2 GD Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
