JOB SUMMARY:
Clean and maintain the appearance of the casino public areas and rest rooms to properly care for the facility and provide a fresh, clean environment to guests
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-CLEANING SPECIALIST: Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values Vacuum carpeted areas Clean ash urn Clean trash urns and ash trays Familiar with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals Sweep and mop tile, brick and concrete areas Dust and polish furniture and equipment Responsible for cleaning public and employee restrooms on a daily basis Delight our guests with outstanding service Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately Knowledgeable of current promotional programs and events Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-SUPERVISOR: Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values Supervise cleaning of casino interior and immediate exterior Prepare and maintain employee work schedules for routine cleaning Plan, schedule and supervise non-routine cleaning projects Conduct pre-shift meetings Order supplies and control inventory levels Train subordinates, providing each with the knowledge, development and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities Provide continuous positive coaching for development of employees and appropriate corrective action when necessary Ensure timely accurate work history entries Exhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating team and maintaining high morale Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required One year supervisor experience preferred Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
•Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Knowledge of floor machines and cleaning equipment Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, shampoos, strippers and waxes Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene Ability to work independently Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and surrounding property Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items Must be able to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues Must be able to work on ladders and lifts Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
