Mission Driven Research, Inc is seeking a Hardware Increment 3 System Engineer to serve as the Engineering SME and technical authority for IBCS Increment 3. The role involves applying Agile principles to various engineering tasks and maintaining technical integrity across all activities associated with IBCS Increment 3. Responsibilities: • Serve as the IBCS Increment 3 Engineering SME and technical authority of Air Missile Defense Systems • Serve as an engineer within the IFMC Systems Engineering work force • Maintain technical integrity with the IBCS Increment 3 programs • Coordinates with other program functional areas and agencies on technical/programmatic effort Qualifications: Required: • Knowledge and experience of applying Agile principles to complex hardware, software and network systems. • Experience with radio frequency (RF) and internet protocol (IP) network implementation in military systems. • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. • 15+ years of experience (Senior/SME). • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). • Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders. • Proficiency in managing Technical Data Packages (e.g., mechanical/electrical drawings, interconnect diagrams, etc). • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player. Preferred: • Agile SAFe engineering certifications. • Experience working in Defense ecosystem (e.g., familiarity with requirements process, developing retrofit kits, supporting engineering fielded systems).
