Senior Project Manager
to develop, contract, and implement natural gas and renewable energy projects, serving as Owner’s Engineer and/or Advisor. The role involves supporting power projects within the industrial, IPP, developer, and utility sectors. The Senior Project Manager will maintain client relationships, bring in projects, develop strategies, monitor project progress, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to success. Significant client interaction and strong communication skills are required, especially with power generation systems like simple cycle and combined cycle plants. Preferred locations include: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland (OR & ME), Richmond, Raleigh, Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain positive client relationships. Achieve schedule, quality, and profitability goals. Assist with proposals, review contracts, and evaluate risks. Lead project teams and technical staff daily. Communicate regularly with teams and clients, ensuring alignment and quality. Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, developing recovery plans if needed. Manage scope changes and provide training and mentorship. Guide design or consulting work within engineering expertise. Report project progress to relevant teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience. Registered Professional Engineer and PMP Certification preferred. Experience with simple cycle and combined cycle EPC projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate business development skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills. Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and project management software.
