Must-Have: - Five years of prior experience in healthcare finance or healthcare financial analysis. - Experience working with clinical/claim and financial data. - Experience with large databases, data extraction, and analysis. - Proficiency in using tools such as Access and Excel.
Description: The Senior Decision Support Analyst provides financial and statistical analysis to assess the impacts of management decisions and proposals. Responsibilities include providing analytical operations support using various data sources. The analyst will analyze and interpret data to supply information for management decisions. Data analysis will identify areas of opportunity and develop proposals and strategies for program development and revisions. The role requires identifying cost control and management issues while recommending actions to resolve them. Preparation and assistance in various strategic and operational studies and analyses to improve system performance are also key. Maintaining reporting data integrity by verifying data accuracy is essential. Support in implementing new systems is required. Candidates must be comfortable working with large sets of data. Experience with healthcare contract management or reimbursement systems and knowledge of reimbursement methodologies is preferred. Familiarity with Tableau and SQL is strongly preferred. Cost accounting experience is also strongly preferred. The hiring manager is specifically looking for Proforma and Cost Accounting experience.
