ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Extractor Technician for Exxon Mobil in Beaumont, in Beaumont TX, for the Maintenance Department. NO PERDIEM OFFER FOR THIS POSITION.
Position Summary: Seeking candidate with Ariel Extractor and Truck mount extractor operator experience in the industrial plant.

ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Extractor Technician for Exxon Mobil in Beaumont, in Beaumont TX, for the Maintenance Department. NO PERDIEM OFFER FOR THIS POSITION.
Position Summary: Seeking candidate with Ariel Extractor and Truck mount extractor operator experience in the industrial plant.
Position responsibilities:
- Observes load hook up and determines safety of load.
- Manipulates equipment controls to regulate speed and direction of equipment and hoist movement according to written, verbal or signal instructions.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and hoist mechanisms.
- Inspects equipment for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of the defects or malfunctions.
- Must have knowledge of specific job.
- Must have knowledge of work requirements.
- Must be able to use correct hand signals.
- Must have knowledge of rigging heavy as well as light lifts.
- Must observe safety precautions.
- Must be able to operator truck mounted extractor equipment to extract bundle from exchanger.
- Must have knowledge of heat exchanger types and can identify them.
- Must be trained in crane hand signals and handling bundles.
- Must possess knowledge of company safety programs.
- Must be able to control and maintain all paperwork necessary for the job (work permit, hot work permit, unit entry permits)
- Must be willing to comply with Zachry Safety Policy and/or any related OSHA/ANSI standards regarding proper wearing of PPE, safe working practices, etc.
- Must be able to select proper equipment for any given job. With the knowledge of Safe and Proper Equipment set up.
- Must be willing to work for extended hours and willing to work over their scheduled shift, if required. Able to workdays.
- Must be willing to perform other duties as may be required by Field Supervision. Follow oral and written directions.
- Must have a Clean Safety Record.
- Must be drug free and willing to participate in Zachry's Drug Free Workplace program which includes but is not limited to Pre-Employment, Random, For Cause and Post Accident Drug Screening and physical. Also motor vehicle record check.
- Training and Safety Council - site specific, basic plus.
- Pass a background check.
- Must pass a DOT drug test and physical.
- Must have a clean driving record at the DMV.
- Must have a CDL class A drivers license and be DOT certified for cross county driving.
- Must have certification for Extractor Operator.
- Must have at least one Zachry craft test - aerial lift, forklift, drott, variable reach forklift.
- Must be proficient in productive work practices.
- Minimum of (5) years documental experience in the Petro-chemical industry.
- Experience with heavy rigging and hand signals.
