Seattle Oncology RN Job Details
- Location: Seattle, WA 98122 (Washington nursing jobs)
- Facility: Outpatient Oncology Treatment Center
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Start Date: September 8, 2025
- End Date: December 8, 2025
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Schedule: Day shifts; 5x8-hour (07:00 - 15:30) or 4x9-hour shifts per week
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1830 - $1960 per week
- Unit Details: 17-chair, 2-bed outpatient treatment center
- Orientation: 1 week (40 hours)
- Closed: Weekends and holidays
- Charting System: EPIC
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or Compact State (Seattle nursing jobs)
- At least 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Administration certification required
- Proficient in chemotherapy administration, port access, PICC line care, and starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult oncology and hematology patients in an outpatient setting
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies according to established protocols
- Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and initiate peripheral IVs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, and phlebotomists
- Monitor patient responses, document interventions in EPIC, and educate patients and families
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
