The Pines at Davidson is hiring a Human Resources Generalist – Compensation and Benefits specializing in Compensation, Benefits Administration, HR Analytics, Onboarding and Compliance. The Human Resource (HR) Generalist is responsible for assisting in the design and ensuring the overall execution of Human Resource programs. The HR Generalist facilitates appropriate solutions to HR challenges, balancing team member and organization interests, building a great place to work culture. Education
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, HR or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years prior experience in Human Resources, Senior Living or Healthcare experience a plus
What You Will Do
Benefits Administration
As the Team Member Benefits expert, administers all employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, disability, and retirement programs. Participates in contract negotiation with vendors, supplying relevant analytics and assisting with decision making. Manages annual open enrollment, including HCM/HRIS set-up, team member meetings, communications and enrollment completions. Assists team members, dependents or beneficiaries in filing claims for life and disability insurances. Directs routine compliance and audit activities associated with the health and welfare and 403(b) plans. Manages monthly data feeds and billing. Administers FMLA and other Leaves of Absence. Coordinates workplace safety activities and administers Worker’s Compensation, ensuring safety of team members.
Compensation
Makes recommendations for compensation structure, including bonus structure. Participates in compensation surveys on behalf of The Pines. Analyzes competitive data for use in market comparisons for the purpose of recommending market increases.
Onboarding
Manages onboarding process, making recommendations for continuous improvement to align with The Pines culture. Corresponds with and coordinates applicants for hire, ensuring completion of pre-hire tasks and scheduling of new team member onboarding. Completes new hire setups in the HCM. Leads new hire onboarding.
HR Analytics Migrate to Senior HR Generalist
Analyzes data and sets up regular reporting of key analytics such as turnover, vacancy rate, team member engagement, etc. Prepares PowerPoint charts and graphs to track key metrics.
Compliance
Ensures annual required notices for benefits plans are communicated to team members. Participates in plan and accounting audits, providing requested information. Completes all ACA administration and reporting requirements. Ensures labor law posters are maintained and up to date. Completes annual compliance reporting such as EEO-1 and OSHA reporting.
Human Resources Leadership
Serves as the administrator of the Human Capital Management System. Participates in activities of the human resources department, including leadership education, team member communications, reward and recognition, etc. Serves as first-line HR assistance contact to current and former team members with issues and questions regarding payroll, benefits, unemployment, and other administrative aspects of employment. Processes payroll as needed based on team work load and/or absences due to leaves or vacations. Helps leaders to fulfill management responsibilities in a manner that optimizes effectiveness and team member engagement. Functions as a contributing member of the HR team.

Good health with adequate strength and endurance to work in all types of situations. Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, stoop, and climb. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance. Adequate hearing ability to discern alarms and safety warnings. Maintain neat personal appearance and proper hygiene. Maintain proper attitude and conduct using correct language and vocabulary.
