We are seeking an
IT Analyst - Intermediate
to join our client's team and support IT infrastructure services, analysis, deployment, and operational support. This role requires
strong analytical skills, ITIL experience, and an understanding of IT infrastructure components and best practices. The IT Analyst will work closely with
service providers, business partners, and internal stakeholders
to ensure the
successful execution of IT initiatives
, manage service-based issues, and support process improvements. The ideal candidate will
bring expertise in IT operations, business analysis, and project management fundamentals
to drive efficiency and quality improvements across IT services. Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Service Management
Support and manage IT infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with business needs. Work closely with
service providers
to delegate operational activities and monitor SLA performance. Identify and define
business requirements
and
functional specifications
for IT projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
resolve IT incidents, service requests, and operational challenges. Track, report, and
monitor IT performance metrics
and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure compliance with
ITIL processes and best practices
for IT service management. Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Lead business engagements to define project
scope, objectives, and expected outcomes . Facilitate
workshops and discussions
to gather detailed requirements and business needs. Support
demand assessment and business planning
, including business case development. Conduct
process mapping (as-is/to-be)
and
value stream mapping
for business improvements. Assess and validate business solutions, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals. Project & Change Management
Assist in
vendor reviews, RFIs, and RFPs
for IT solutions. Work with testing teams to
develop test scripts
and support validation activities. Oversee
change request management
, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives. Support IT leadership with
budgeting, financial analysis, and project documentation. Maintain and enhance IT
processes, tools, templates, and best practices. Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors Degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-3 years
of experience in IT infrastructure services, analysis, deployment, and support. Experience working with
IT service providers
and managing delegated operational activities. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, trends, and best practices. Strong analytical skills for
problem-solving, process development, and root cause analysis. Experience in
ITIL processes and service management. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project). General understanding of gas and electric utility industry operations. Preferred (for Senior/Lead Analyst level):
6+ years
of IT experience in support functions. ITIL v3 or v4 certification. Project Management experience (PMP certification a plus). Experience leading
process improvement initiatives
and IT service enhancements. Experience in enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and service management tools.
