Join the AAP Customer engagement and Loyalty Product Strategy and Execution team and start reimagining the future of automotive marketing for AAPs Pro customers.
The Enterprise Customer engagement and Loyalty Product team is responsible for Strategy and management of marketing products that enable marketing automation, personalization, Loyalty and customer engagement for both DIY and Pro lines of business. This team plays a critical role in customer advocacy and driving bottom line/top-line growth working cross-functionally with eCommerce, Marketing, Sales, and IT organizations.
AAP is seeking an innovative technologist and marketer that is energized by the future of digital marketing and can thrive in ambiguity. As a Product Manager for Pro Customer portals and Pro-Loyalty, you will be responsible for developing the product roadmap for Customer portals that serve both corporate and independent customers as well as position AAPs Pro loyalty program for success.
You will be responsible for working with the product director in developing a roadmap for modernization of existing technologies and vendor solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify issues, and implement innovative solutions that enhance our marketing capabilities and deliver measurable results. You will lead the strategic use of existing technologies and related third party solutions while helping the business migrate to a new platform. This role includes translating business requirements into technical direction for the Agile teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and own Epics and in line with business and develop clear, actionable user stories. Champion understanding of these stories across the cross-functional matrix organization charged with design, development, and launch. Identify opportunities that ensure long term support of existing technology stack. Define initiatives, quantify investment, and return, and communicate these to executive decision makers to secure investment. Working with other product managers, develop innovative plans to streamline the Customer portal ecosystem to ensure ease of use for CAMs, Independents and Pro Customers. Responsible for mapping and stewarding digital customer experience from the portal into ecommerce, working cross-functionally with the ecommerce Pro product owners and User experience team. Utilize data and analytics to develop compelling stories to gain traction with both strategic and tactical plans. Contribute to overall product planning, including creation and delivery of Quarterly and annual planning documents. Work with the Director of strategy to ensure that planning documents address growth objectives including revenue, market share, ROI, and profitability across all channels. Demonstrate strong bias for action while managing stakeholder and broader organizational expectations. Consistently demonstrate AAP cultural beliefs and leadership competencies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years' experience in Product/Project management, with a minimum of 3 years in Agile/Scrum methodologies. 3+ years’ experience in Martech and or Adtech required. 2 years’ experience in Salesforce Communities Cloud / Experience Cloud, Adobe Experience cloud preferred. 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, and Loyalty marketing, preferred, ideally, in the aftermarket automotive (or retail) industry. Analytical skills and mindset. Ability to synthesize and evaluate complex solutions to complex problems. Demonstrated bias for action and innovation while balancing and educating non-technical stakeholder expectations. Ability to adjust smoothly to change in direction, have a high level of respect and regard to others, all while maintaining ownership and accountability. Experience with project/product management tools. Specifically experience in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools in general, will be a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work across business and IT / development teams.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. 3-8+ years of overall experience in product management and Martech/Adtech. Credentials including CSPO, PMP, Salesforce certifications etc. are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Leadership in a cross-functional team context.

Location & Work Availability:
This position is 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week, based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Hills)
