As our Purpose Statement says, "We help our customers focus on theirs" by implementing solutions to recover more money, faster and more efficiently than they can do it themselves.We're looking for someone to join our Information Technology team who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols and processes related to our technology infrastructure, keeping our systems and information safe.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks Design and implement security protocols, disaster recovery plans and data protection strategies Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs) Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems Conduct hardware security inspections and ensure system hardening Monitor network activity for threats and respond to incidents. Act on privacy breaches and malware threats Provide security expertise and training to internal employees Provide subject matter support in the development of security policies and guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications
Qualifications:
Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity framework), risk management and intrusion prevention systems (e.g. TippingPoint) Familiarity with PKI, SSL/TLS and patch management practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure Education and Experience:
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required. Experience with tools such as CrowdStrike and Splunk is required. Programming skills are preferred (e.g. knowledge of C#, PHP, .Net) Professional certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM) is a plus or able to obtain within first year of employment. 2-3 years of related experience The Perks:
