ORBIS is seeking experienced
Mission Specialist Deep Dive Analysts
to join our growing company as part of a large, customer-run program in specialized mission-focused offices. The Mission Specialist will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the intelligence community and directly contribute to the process that shapes government policy and impactful operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Conduct all-Source intelligence research, analysis, report writing, and report editing Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Project planning to include: operational concept development, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of an operation. Preparation and presentation of written and oral briefings to all levels of customer management Potential for TDY travel
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required or 5 years additional years of relevant operational experience for this position. Minimum of 4 years' relevant operational experience within the sponsor's organization or other relevant organization(s) in the Intelligence Community
Required Skills/Abilities
Requires an active TS/SCI w/ Poly High degree of personal integrity Ability to simultaneously manipulate multiple sets of data to derive inputs for deep dive packages Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage status reporting and scheduling Familiarity with the customer’s report writing standards Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills/Abilities
Relevant Customer Certifications Basic familiarity with both tactical and strategic military operations Familiarity with various Intelligence Community partners and their operations Proficiency with software and databases used in support of research and analysis for the U.S. Government Foreign language proficiency is a plus!
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings. Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
