for a manufacturing company located in
Greensboro, NC.
The
Indirect Procurement Buyer
is responsible for contract drafting, negotiation, and vendor management to ensure compliance with all FDA regulations and operational needs. The
Indirect Procurement Buyer
is a
contract
opportunity and requires the candidate to
sit on site
2-3 days per week in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities of the Indirect Procurement Buyer:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts based on legal templates, incorporating necessary contract language. Lead negotiations to resolve red-line contract issues, ensuring favorable terms for the company. Manage procurement for maintenance, janitorial services, engineering services, consulting services, and cleaning crews. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations related to indirect services procurement. Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
Requirements of the Indirect Procurement Buyer:
5+ years of experience in indirect procurement within manufacturing industries. Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience handling red-line negotiations. Working knowledge of FDA regulations related to indirect services procurement. Ability to manage complex procurement processes across global factories. Proficient in procurement software and data analysis for strategic sourcing.
Compensation of the Indirect Procurement Buyer:
$40-$45 per hour Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday, Sick Leave if Required by Law
