The University of Kansas Health System seeks an infectious disease faculty member to join its expanding team. The physician will support the department's mission of providing high-quality care, teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at a regional quaternary referral center. The Division of Infectious Diseases offers onsite services at multiple campuses and via telemedicine. Responsibilities
Perform inpatient consultation rounds in rotation with other faculty Maintain a weekly ambulatory infectious diseases clinic Train medical students, residents, and fellows Attend and present at key conferences and provide updates on clinical and diagnostic principles Participate in scholarly activities, mentorship, and scientific dissemination Qualifications
Board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases Infectious Diseases board certification within one year of appointment Kansas medical license Benefits
