Job Responsibilities
This scope of work is for a Data and Analytics Architect/Engineer who will be responsible for collaborating with the Department and its System Implementer (SI) to implement and maintain technical aspects of the EDAP component within the data modernization (DM) program. This contractor will provide data modeling/design services, as well as hands-on engineering development during the implementation of various (EDAP) use cases and will provide support services once in production. Contractor will provide these services to the Department. Contractor Responsibilities
SERVICE TASKS: As directed by the Department, contractors staff will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified: Provide technical, data, and process subject matter expertise and championship related to all aspects of the EDAP project. Reverse engineer, study, and utilize Informatica Cloud Data Profiling (CDP) to profile prioritized source system data models, dictionaries, and data flows to understand and document current state and identify data problems. Work with business SMEs and the Enterprise Data and Analytics Architect to document current state ERD in Erwin and data models. Perform needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop process maps in collaboration with project team members. Collaborate with Data Governance team to develop and maintain data standards, business glossary, and data quality rules. Create and maintain target state data models for data warehouse and data lakehouse, including physical and logical models. Use Informatica Cloud Metadata Command Center (MCC) and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to design, develop, and support metadata tagging and collection processes. Collaborate with Department OIT and SMEs to provision source data connectors for profiling, lineage, quality scoring, and integration; manage Informatica secure agent server clusters. Design, develop, and support data pipeline components, ensuring high data quality, security, and performance. Support Customer 360 SaaS MDM and RDM, including data ingestion, domain models, data enrichment, and golden record creation. Design and support a high-quality data hub environment for system-to-system data exchanges. Implement and support BI tools like ESRI, ABI (Qlik, Tableau), DSML (Dataiku), including metadata integration and user access controls. Optimize performance and cost of Snowflake virtual warehouses and Databricks compute resources. Ensure EDAP design incorporates security and privacy compliance, including HIPAA and sensitive data handling. Address secure system and user access, monitor and alert on access, with fine-grained controls. Perform data pipeline testing, including unit, integration, regression, and UAT. Contractor Qualifications And Experience
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelors degree in relevant field. Data/analytics certification (e.g., CDMP) or equivalent experience. 5+ years collaborating with business and analytics teams, understanding healthcare/business operations. 5+ years modeling and supporting data warehouses, with experience in Snowflake. 3+ years designing cloud data lakes and lakehouse structures. 7+ years in data modeling, including ER, logical, and physical models, with proficiency in Erwin. Experience with data pipeline tools, including Informatica IDMC suite, SQL, Python, AWS Lambda, and cloud infrastructure. Experience with databases, DevOps/DataOps, data testing, metadata management, MDM/RDM, BI tools, and ML platforms. Excellent communication skills. About Vector
