We are seeking an Information Systems Security Manager with a TS/SCI w/ Poly to support a future contract with our Engineering Services and Solutions Division in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will provide management support for a program’s Information Assurance requirements, including proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing Information System Security policies, standards, and methodologies. You will manage the operational security posture for an Information System or program, ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures. Your responsibilities include managing security aspects of the Information System, performing day-to-day security operations, evaluating security solutions, conducting vulnerability/risk assessments, and supporting configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware. Additionally, you will manage changes to systems, assess security impacts, and oversee documentation reviews such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs). You will support security authorization activities in line with NSA/CSS Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). Qualifications include: Ten (10) years of experience in security authorization. Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, encryption techniques, and familiarity with commercial security products, incident management, PKI, and authorization services. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering, or an additional four (4) years of related experience in lieu of a degree. DoD 8570 IAM II compliance. Pay Range: The salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $220,000, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
