What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Infrastructure & Network Support Specialist to join our team.This role is 100% onsite and involves working with cutting-edge technology, often being among the first to see new developments.You'll be engaged in project-based work, with daily tasks varying from provisioning devices to troubleshooting network issues.This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and potentially transition to full-time employment within the company.
Installing new software releases and performing system upgrades.
Configuring systems and evaluating/installing patches.
Resolving complex problems related to infrastructure and networking.
Coordinating with appropriate teams to apply software updates.
Monitoring system configuration and automation scripts for stability.
Ensuring effective, secure, and regulatory-compliant operations and administration of complex infrastructure resources.
Maintaining the consistent integrity of information.
Providing oversight of hardware and software operations and maintenance support.
Participating in the development of system backups and recovery processes.
Participating in the design of disaster/system recovery and testing, when applicable.
Provisioning Cisco/Nokia devices.
Troubleshooting network devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively managing and maintaining network and infrastructure systems. Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently. Collaborating with network engineers and field technicians. Ensuring system stability, security, and compliance. Required Skills & Experience: Working knowledge of security and networking fundamentals Experience with endpoint devices and endpoint security Understanding of networking protocols and how to provision Cisco/Nokia devices 2+ years of relevant experience in network administration or related field Knowledge of infrastructure, operating systems, and telecommunications networks Experience with system administration tools and scripting languages Understanding of system backup, recovery, and storage administration Associates degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent 2+ years relevant experience) Ability to work 100% onsite, 5 days per week Desired Skills & Experience: Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, etc.) Background in cybersecurity and security best practices Project management experience with ability to explain role and contributions CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and/or Cisco CCENT certifications Experience with network device troubleshooting and problem resolution Familiarity with automation scripts and configuration management Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy environments Pay: $24.55 - $35.07 /hr. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
