We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Specialist to support our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of procurement and subcontracting activities for complex Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. From RFP development and commercial bid evaluation to contract execution and project close-out, you'll play a critical role in ensuring materials and services are sourced, secured, and delivered on schedule.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vendor and subcontractor management who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.Key Responsibilities:Support project pursuit and execution by collaborating with Project and Procurement Managers, developing bidder lists, issuing RFPs, and coordinating technical reviews with EPC engineering teamsEvaluate proposals for compliance with commercial terms, diversity goals (MBE/WBE), and corporate standards; negotiate terms and recommend contract awardsDraft, review, and finalize contracts with required flow-down provisions in alignment with internal policies and client requirementsMaintain supplier and subcontractor relationships, resolve performance issues, and manage procurement risks including delays, scope gaps, and pricing discrepanciesTrack procurement progress through the Procurement Status Report (PSR); validate materials from drawings, enter data into systems, and resolve OS&D issues with construction and logistics teamsEnsure all procurement activities meet compliance, safety, and documentation standards; support special projects as neededQualifications:Required:4+ years of procurement experience within EPC environments in Transmission & Distribution infrastructure projects, required. Proven track record in managing vendor/subcontractor RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, and material logisticsExperience with supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, and expediting on high-value infrastructure projectsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related fieldPreferred:Established network of vendors and subcontractors in the T&D or energy sectorSkills & Attributes:Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to contractual detailsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently while supporting a cross-functional teamExceptional organizational and time management skillsComfortable communicating with all levels of staff and external partnersTravel Requirements:Must be willing to travel up to 50% based on project needsReady to build the infrastructure of the future with a high-performing EPC team?
