Tax Senior Manager - Tax Director (Alternative Investments)
- Deep understanding of filing requirements related to alternative investment and/or registered investment companies (RICs)
- Partnership taxation to ensure completeness and accuracy of tax compliance and reporting
- Knowledge of key tax issues associated with alternative investment firms, including tax positions referenced by service providers and the impact of legislative and regulatory changes
Required Background and Skills:
- Bachelors in Accounting or related field; Masters or LLM a plus
- CPA or Bar admission
- 8+ years of tax-related experience (prior Big-4 firm experience preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with leadership and outside partners
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with service providers, team members, and other stakeholders
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Ability to collaborate with departments such as Finance and Legal
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Interest in improving the tax function through strategic methodologies or automation tools to enhance efficiencies
