Description: Energy-focused public-equity manager based in Chicago, IL is searching for a research associate to support the investment team. Responsibilities Perform fundamental research on current and prospective investments Build and update financial models and data sets Assist in writing investment memos Perform ad-hoc research projects at the direction of the investment team Develop and maintain relationships with management teams, investor relations, and industry experts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree: 0-3 years of experience Desired education/work experience: Business (accounting, finance, or economics), Sciences (engineering, geology, geophysics…), or Other (math, history…) Knowledge and aptitude with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Prior buyside, sell-side, I-banking, or direct industry experience a plus Basic programming experience (e.g. Python and VBA) a plus Contact: info@paloduro.com Seniority level
