Cyber Operations Planner
for a federal cybersecurity client, focused on protecting our nation's critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will develop detailed plans for cyber operations, collaborating independently with planners, operators, and analysts. They will participate in complex targeting, validation, synchronization, and integration of cyber actions, supporting CISA leaders and cyber defense operations by coordinating intelligence activities and linking planning systems to management processes. What you will do: Responsibilities: Provide intelligence support to deliver a timely, accurate view of the cyber threat environment, aiding decision-making for CISA leaders and cyber defense teams. Coordinate intelligence activities, link planning systems, and employ methodologies to support crisis and steady-state operations. Engage with IC partners to incorporate intelligence into joint cyber defense plans and priorities. Identify and submit Key Intelligence Questions (KIQs), PIRs, and CRs aligned with strategic priorities. Monitor emerging cyber threats and changes in the threat landscape. Support planning guidance, determine intelligence needs, and facilitate intelligence support in collaboration with IC partners. Analyze and integrate cyber threat intelligence into planning scenarios, objectives, and courses of action (COAs). Manage RFIs from various offices related to ongoing or future plans and operations. Assist in classifying and downgrading intelligence products as necessary. Develop intelligence annexes, briefings, and conduct threat briefings for leadership and external partners. Support the development of frameworks, processes, and procedures for intelligence support and coordination. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and action items, and support leadership briefing needs. Evaluate the effectiveness of intelligence support and recommend improvements. Support program management for classified intelligence programs. Incorporate private sector cyber threat intelligence into support frameworks. Facilitate analytic exchanges with USG IC partners to develop collaborative operational concepts. To be successful, you should have: Relevant certifications in intelligence analysis or cybersecurity. Previous experience supporting DHS and/or CISA. Required Skills and Experience: Must be a U.S. citizen. Must obtain and retain a Top-Secret clearance and SCI access. Require DHS Fitness Determination. 5-7 years of experience developing operational cyber plans. Ability to work with diverse partners, including private sector, on complex cybersecurity issues.
