Junior Backend Developer Java Location:
Charlotte, NC Experience:
6-8 yrs Required Skills: Java (Java 11 or Java 17), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux Reactive Programming, AWS, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL Database. Nice to Have: Angular Role & Responsibilities: Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Java/J2EE technology, including Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Mid-level full stack developer experienced in Java Spring Boot framework, API development, and Reactive programming. Experience in developing APIs and Web Microservices using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks. Proficient in Java 11 or Java 17. Experience with Java Reactive Programming and Spring WebFlux Reactive Programming. Design and implement scalable software solutions using Core Java and J2EE. Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services. Utilize Hibernate for database management and data retrieval. Ensure seamless API integration between software components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Adhere to best coding and design practices to optimize performance. Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality. Stay updated with the latest technology trends. Provide technical guidance to junior team members. Work with project management to meet deadlines and deliverables. Ensure software security and data protection compliance. Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. Strong background in Core Java, Hibernate, J2EE, web services, with preference for experience in Cards & Payments domain. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Build REST APIs used by multiple teams and perform Proof of Concepts (POCs). Represent the team in cross-project meetings. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and implement new features. Recommend improvements for design and performance. Participate in code reviews, monitor code quality, and support staff training.
