Summary

Seeking a Senior Java Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications using Java, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks.

Must-Have Skills

Java Architecture: 10+ years Java/JEE (Java 8 & 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate) Cloud Platforms: Proven experience architecting apps on at least one major cloud (OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure) Microservices: Hands-on with microservices design, API gateways, service discovery, and resilient patterns Containerization: Docker essential, Kubernetes a strong plus Front-end: Angular (v13+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 Database: Oracle RDBMS and SQL proficiency DevOps: Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and infrastructure automation Integration: Experience with cloud IAM, object storage, load balancers, VCNs

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design of large-scale, cloud-native Java applications using microservices Oversee containerized deployment (Docker/Kubernetes) and front-end architecture (Angular) Define and enforce best practices for secure, high-performance, modular application delivery Mentor development teams and foster an agile, DevOps-friendly culture Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into practical solutions

Preferred

Experience in legacy system modernization Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server or Liberty Messaging systems (JMS, Kafka) and distributed caching Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and performance/load testing

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities Ability to mentor, influence, and collaborate across multiple teams
